Cilantro AvoSauce

My husband and I love this sauce! All the ingredients are pure, raw, alkaline. It’s very refreshing sauce. High in healthy fats, chlorophyll rich, high in potassium – great for your heart!

Let’s do it!

Serving: 3-5 depends on what you are using it for (see how to use ideas below the recipy)

Time: 5-7 minutes

The ingredients are very simple:

  • 1 Avocado
  • Handful of fresh Cilantro (about a cup)
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Olive oil 2-4 oz.
  • Water 3 - 6 oz. (depends how thick you want)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions: Combine all ingredients (except water) in a food processor (with S-blade) or in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add water, adjust salt to taste. Sometimes I add also more lime juice and cilantro if I want stronger flavor. Yumm☺

Since it’s very fresh I keep in a fridge and use within 2 days. I love to use it for my veggie burgers, on steamed broccoli and other steamed veggies, as a salad dressing, in our wraps instead of mayo because it has this sourish taste from lime. If you use it in your wraps/sandwiches you can do the sauce more like a mayo consistency (almost no water).

Please enjoy!
